On August 15, 2012, around 6:30am, a female resident on Ash St. in the Forest Hills subdivision in Supply was confronted by a male subject, possibly Hispanic, wearing all black clothing. As the female went outside to get her iPod from her vehicle, the male subject, dressed in all black from head to toe ran up on the back porch, grabbed the female and told her not to fight, that he wouldn’t hurt her. The female stated that they fell to the ground where a fight occurred. She stated she punched the subject several times before he jumped up and ran off. After the suspect ran off, the female noticed that the passenger door to her car was opened and her iPod was moved from its usual location. As a result of the altercation, the victim has minor bruises. It is believed the suspect was caught breaking in to her car. Sheriff Ingram asks that any information on this incident or other in the area, please contact the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office at 910-253-2777 or Detective Mike Murray at 910-880-4942.
